My parents managed a summer camp, and it was vacant for about seven or eight months out of the year. It was in the middle of nowhere in the woods. We backed up to a state forest. There are a million great books out there if you just go to Google. There’s a lot to pull apart. A lot of crazy, unbelievable stuff that’s all completely true. I get into little obsessions, and I read everything I can find on one thing, and then I move onto another. – Caitlin Kittredge
A lot of times with novels, you can get a really deep, engaging story, but there’s not a lot happening, frankly. Those books tend to be super-literary and dense, and they require a lot of commitment, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing, but if you want fast-moving action and gore and plot and excitement, you can get shorted on that. – Caitlin Kittredge
