Kate Winslet is incredible. She’s so lovely and so flexible, and she’s got three kids, and she’s flying internationally to work. It’s amazing to see strong women doing what they want to do and doing it well. – Sarah Snook
I’ve had something sort of like angel cards where you pull out an angel card that turns out, like, grandmother was watching over me. And I believe, in some way, I haven’t been brave enough to engage with tarot cards mostly because they always end on a bad note. I’m sure if I understood tarot cards more I wouldn’t be as fearful. – Sarah Snook
What I’ve found I really like about sci-fi is it can look at philosophical questions about humanity but in a different context. It can really make you think. That’s what ‘Doctor Who’ does, even if it’s a bit silly some other times. – Sarah Snook
I’ve been really lucky in the work that I have done so far, to work with good female actors in lead roles. Lisa McCune in ‘Blood Brothers’ and Claudia Karvan in ‘Spirited’ and then Susie Porter in ‘Sisters of War.’ They’ve been working, and they’ve got good lives around them as well. – Sarah Snook

In ‘Sisters of War,’ I got to do one of my own stunts. Running out of the building because the Japanese were firing, with all these little spark plugs are going off, looking like explosions and bullets flying down. That was really fun. – Sarah Snook

It’s very easy to say that men think about things more simply, but it kind of is true. And that’s not actually a bad thing. Approaching things in a more logical, practical fashion. This is a massive generalisation, but women tend to think about things more first, then act afterwards. – Sarah Snook
I was the understudy to the understudy in a year-two production of ‘Big Chief Red Feather.’ The boy who had the lead broke his arm, and then the understudy got chicken pox. And I loved it. I got to wear the most feathers in my headdress. – Sarah Snook
