Death of a Salesman, Act 2. In a scathing rebuke of her sons, Linda accuses Happy and Biff of preferring to be with prostitutes rather than honor a dinner date with their father. Normally careful in her use of language, Linda doesn’t hold back in her derogatory description of the girls her sons were with. She is very angry at the way they hurt and insulted their father.
