HAMLET: Where’s your father?
OPHELIA: At home, my lord.
– William Shakespeare
Hamlet, Act 3, Scene 1. Ophelia lies to Hamlet here. Ophelia is a puppet of Polonius throughout and has been asked to "bump into" Hamlet to try to find out why he has been acting crazy. Polonius and Claudius are spying on the two as they meet in the royal castle.
