This is one Lucianus, nephew to the king.
– William Shakespeare
Hamlet, Act 3, Scene 2. Hamlet to Claudius, as the Player Villain Lucianus enters to pour the poison into the ear of the Player King, during the play-within-a-play. This is the one crucial change that Hamlet makes to the script for the re-enactment of his father’s murder. Hamlet is Claudius’ nephew, so he is foreshadowing that Claudius will die in revenge.
