Macbeth, Act 4, Scene 3. After Malcolm urges Macduff to turn his grief into anger over the killing of his family, Macduff finally does so. Macduff wants to come face-to-face with the devil (“fiend”) Macbeth so that he is within reach of his sword. Only heaven itself can save Macbeth, he vows.
