– William Shakespeare

Othello, Act 3, Scene 4. After Othello’s "hand speech" which concludes by saying she has a good and open hand, Desdemona shows her loving nature and affectionate feelings towards him. She doesn’t realize that his speech about her moist hand is not Othello engaging in love talk, but strongly hinting that she has been cheating on him.
