Othello, Act 4, Scene 1. Master manipulator Iago tells Othello that Desdemona gave her handkerchief to Cassio who in turn passed it to his prostitute girlfriend Bianca. We have a classic example of dramatic irony here, since the audience knows Iago is lying and placed the handkerchief in Cassio’s lodging to frame him.
