Romeo and Juliet, Act 2, Scene 6. There are a lot of foreshadowing moments in the play and Romeo’s words as he is about to marry Juliet are one such moment. He passionately declares that if being wed to Juliet results in his death, then he is determined to marry her. Soon after the wedding "love-devouring death" sadly comes to pass.
