Like a misbehaved and sullen wench,
Thou pout’st upon thy fortune and thy love:
Take heed, take heed, for such die miserable.
– William Shakespeare
Romeo and Juliet, Act 3, Scene 3. Friar Laurence is a bit sexist when he uses a simile to compare Romeo to a "misbehaved and sullen wench" because of his self-pitying behavior. Romeo falls apart and turns suicidal after being sentenced to banishment.
