Romeo and Juliet, Act 5, Scene 3. At Juliet’s grave Lord Montague announces to Prince Escalus that his wife died from grief after learning of Romeo’s banishment. Grief is personified here as killing Lady Montague, and woe as conspiring against Lord Montague.
