The Iliad, Book 16, Lines 803-804. The death of Patroclus is foreshadowed here. Achilles loaned Patroclus his armor so that it would inspire the Achaeans and demoralize the Trojans. But he ordered Patroclus to just drive back the Trojans and not pursue them, which Patroclus disobeys.
