"Amphinomus, you seem like a man of good sense to me.
Just like your father – at least I’ve heard his praises."

– Homer

The Odyssey, Book 18, lines 144-155. The disguised Odysseus almost blows his cover as he is about to warn best-behaved suitor Amphinomus that he will die if he remains in the palace. Telling him that he is a "man of good sence" like his father, he quickly covers up the fact that he knows his father by saying "at least I’ve heard."
