The Tempest, Act 1, Scene 2. This is Ferdinand’s response when Prospero tells him that he is going to imprison him. Ferdinand says that as long as he can see his beloved Miranda once a day from his prison window, that is freedom enough for him. He would not need the freedom to go anywhere else.
